“And what about me?”
“Whether you call me Sir or Master is something we’ll discover down the road. One night is not enough time, but don’t worry. We have a year to decide.”
It is a year!
And that no longer frightens me. I’m excited. Giddy. I’m over the moon happy.
He cups my cheek and gives me a kiss which sends my heart soaring. I’m exactly where I want to be, and I’m with a man I trust to explore this brand-new world.
When he breaks off the kiss, his voice is low and husky. “A year to start, and hopefully many more. Are you ready to begin, little mouse?”
I fling my arms around his neck and laughter bubbles up in my throat.
“I do! I most definitely do, and Sir…”
The corners of his lips turn up into a grin.
“What?”
“I already know what kind of collar I want from my Master.”
“Is that so?”
I give a healthy nod. “I absolutely do.”
Edge walks with me outside, sheltering me from the world. I can’t wait to see the shock on my sister’s face when she sees my new boyfriend. Edge is pretty hot, and hands down ten times the man compared to any of her boyfriends. I don’t want her to know anything about what Edge and I share. This is something I want to keep all to myself, but I do want her to know I'm happy.
As for the man I intend to call Master, that is something uniquely mine. Looking up at him, I know he feels exactly the same.
The Ties that Bind couldn’t be a more appropriate name for the place which set me on a new and exciting path of self-discovery and love.
