It's Just Love, Not a Time Bomb

He throws his hands up in surrender. “You’re the one that ate, and still eats, like a fucking pig. That wasn’t my fault.” He stills, realizing what he just said, and then backs away slowly.

“Are you calling me fat?” I say dangerously low.

“You said it first,” he yells.

“Yeah, I did. I’m allowed. You aren’t,” I shout back at him as he tries to run off.

I catch up to him, and he says, “Princess, you are the sexiest pregnant woman I have ever seen.” He takes my hand and places it on his growing erection. “See? You do that to me.”

I smirk and then roll my eyes at him, and his dick is what keeps getting me in this shape.

“Wait, how did you know I was pregnant again?” I demand, hands on my hips.

      “Uh, well...” Jordan stutters.

“You better run,” I growl out, just as he takes off through the house.

A LITTLE OVER TWO YEARS LATER

I glance around the room, taking in everyone that is here. We decided on a small wedding, with just our closest friends and family. Jordan’s friend Bobby, and my cousin Sarah are on the dance floor, holding each other tightly. Liz and Jordan’s twin brother, Shaun, are doing the same. I look over and see Hayley and Brock making out, while their son is pulling at them, trying to interrupt their moment. I giggle.

And then there is Kellie, with her fiancé, Lance, sitting at a table, just talking. Jaxon is pissed beyond reason with this development, her getting engaged, but he’s the asshole that never fixed anything in his personal life. Kellie wasn’t going to wait for him forever. It doesn’t stop him from standing off to the side, glaring at the couple, though. You’d think he would get over it; it’s been years, and I know he’s in love with the tiny pixie looking woman standing beside him.

I personally just think Jaxon doesn’t like others playing with things he considers his, even though it’s clear they’ve both moved on.

Their boys, Noah and Elijah, are running around the yard chasing their daughter, Grace, with handfuls of dirt. Seeing that makes me laugh.

I look to my husband and roll my eyes. He has my mom dancing, and he’s making a fool of himself. I look over and find my dad with my children, playing on the grass with them.

Aiden is now almost five, and our twin girls, Amber and Anya, are two. When I found out I was having twins, I told the doctor to schedule a surgery for when they were out, because I was done—no more kids. Hell to the no. Jordan was pissed about that, me making a decision like that without him, but come on. We have three kids, and I wanted zero kids. I shake my head and smile, taking in my family.

Plus, when we found out it was twins, Jordan ran from the room, knowing I was going to clobber him the second I could. Although, I never did, because any time I remembered to, the jerk used Aiden as a shield, so instead, I just didn’t do his laundry, purposely separating it from mine, and I didn’t cook him supper. I only made enough for Aiden and I. It took almost three months for me to finally get over it, because I found out they were girls. That was torture for Jordan, exclaiming he’d have to get a gun. So I lifted my anger off him and bragged all the time about us having little girls, and how when they were older, we’d probably all be on our periods together at the same time.

Jordan comes over to me minutes later and holds out his hand as the song All of Me by John Legend comes on. I grin. The words to this song absolutely fit us perfectly.

“Aren’t you glad we finally did this?” Jordan says, looking smug.

I roll my eyes. “Yes. Aren’t you glad I asked you to marry me?” I say cheekily.

“No, you sort of took away my manhood with that one,” he grumbles.

I throw my head back and laugh. “I love you,” I tell him.

“I love you too, Princess. Always,” he says, pulling me in for a kiss, his hands wrapped around my body.

I never did lose the weight I gained with the two pregnancies, but Jordan doesn’t seem to care. Sometimes he’ll tease me about my love handles and the extra tire I have goin’ on, but he loves me.

Jordan and I still fight over everything, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m happy. I’m in love. It’s the best feeling ever.

Hayley was right all those years ago. It’s Just love, Not a Time Bomb.
