“You mean it’s OK that we borrowed those gravity inductors?” Jessie asked her dad sitting in one of his visitor’s chairs.
“It’s OK that you stole the gravity inductors.” Alec corrected.
“I would have to say that your anti-gravity office is pretty impressive.” Sheldon said in defense. They’d been bouncing around in it for the past few hours. “How did you come up with it?”
Jessie fidgeted under their scrutiny. “You don’t know?” she said to her dad.
“How would I?”
Jessie reached for the note in her pocket then thought better of it and said. “I guess it just came to me.” She looked at Sofie who nodded.
“I really don’t know. Olivia just said Cleveland received a call and had to go… and left her stranded. If we hadn’t planned on Sheldon backing them up, we would have lost everything.”
“Then why did you let Big Mac go?” Jessie asked about McDonald. “Why didn’t you have him arrested?”
“There was nothing we could do, plus I’m pretty sure he’s got a lot of powerful friends and lawyers. Anyway, it doesn’t matter anymore. He lost and GraviTych is ours, lock, stock and barrel… thanks to Mr. Moon.” Clay answered her.
“If you can have my spaceship circling the moon 10 months from now, we’ll be even.”
