The door being thrown opened drew his gaze. Xander burst into the room. “I just got Tor’s message. Are you all right, Slanon?”
Tor grunted. “He’s about to be more than all right.”
Mr. Tickles flicked his tail over Slanon’s and Alicka’s faces and then climbed down Slanon’s body. He chattered loudly and poked Alicka’s toes.
Slanon almost passed out when he looked down and saw ten cute, gold-striped toes. His gaze darted to Alicka’s. She nodded and squealed happily. “We’re having a baby.”
“Moons, I love you so much.” He picked her up and ignored the twinge of pain in his shoulder as he spun his beautiful mate in a complete circle and then kissed her with all the passion coursing through his veins.
Wanting to get her home, he set her down and was about to look around for his clothes. She stumbled, and he caught her. Love filled his chest as he looked into her thankful blue eyes. He looked forward to catching her for the rest of his life.
