Cooper's watering eyes, filled with tear gas, met hers as he held his arm across his mouth and nose. In his other hand, though, he held an ivory handled revolver, pointed straight at her head. With a tiny sideways jerk of his hand, Cooper waved her away. He was giving her one chance to leave unharmed. His eyes seemed to burn, but he dared not shut them. The gas was slowly fading away, and Sidney heard him draw a slow, faint breath from behind his arm. Each dared the other to move first: Cooper, for her to try and attack him, and Sidney for him to draw a bad breath of tear gas-laden air. The longer they waited, the more Sidney realized he wouldn’t be faltering from the teargas. His eyes, while still red, had stopped watering, and she could hear his steady breathing behind his arm. Cooper jerked his hand sideways once more, and that move was all the moment she needed.

Mission Details:
Nadia Gautreaux, Head of The Knights, requested a meeting with the new Chief Arbiter of The Klan (Identity confirmed to be Daniel Cooper). Meeting was to discuss the Klan clearing the Hive as the first phase of what sounds to be a multi-step city wide power grab, the next step of which involves the annexation of Mark Tyler's (see Dossier GG-POI-MT-237) Life Raft. Requisition 33582-9 for Klan regalia was absent from the storeroom; therefore, mission parameters altered. Infiltration of the Castle was carried out through alternate methods and meeting was recorded from an overhead air duct (sound quality above required standards). Also revealed in meeting, the Knights know of the listening post being established near Chase Building. A Klan hit team is being dispatched Friday to eliminate the listening post team. I recommend recalling the listening post team and conducting a full faculty mole hunt, in the event that the information concerning the location of the listening post was leaked to Knights by an Ape. Upon exiting Castle, paths crossed with leaving Klan party. All Klansmen were eliminated, save Cooper, who left with a broken wrist. Bullet wound was sustained in my left shoulder. Time off offer has been denied, but medical attention was accepted.
