“Very,” she said smiling. “There’s love in the air tonight, Ronan, and not just ours.” She looked toward the dance floor, where Sam was now enfolded in Master Andrew’s arms. They were talking as they danced. Master Andrew said something, and Sam laughed.
Ronan followed her gaze and grinned. He lifted his champagne toward the dance floor. “To new beginnings,” he said.
“To us,” she replied, lifting her glass to clink it against his. “All of us here at The Compound, and beyond.”
