Kira leaned forward and covered his lips with her own. They kissed softly, eyes closed, and breathed in the scent of each other's skin.
She smiled against his mouth. "Are you sure that Prince Salin wouldn't be a better choice?"
Bladen growled playfully and gathered her close. "I am your only choice, Royal Protector Kira."
