He turned to Grimalkin. “Let’s go.”
He set off in the direction of home. His heart was lighter than he had expected, and spring was blossoming all around him with hope and hidden potential. And the hope was possible, the future was possible, because he had mastered the past. By Frigg, it had all been a great adventure.
Or perhaps the adventure was just beginning.

Born in Stafford in the UK, Carol was raised in Crewe, Cheshire, which she thinks of as her home town. Interested in reading and writing at an early age, Carol pursued her passions at Nottingham University and was awarded an honours degree in English Language and Literature.
