So, what’s next? Well, I plan to continue Beth’s story, and like always… give her a happy ending. Yes, I know who her hero will be, and yes, you’ve already met him in the Thalia series. No, I will not tell you who it is. The good news is that I plan to tell their story in a duet, which (I’m sure you can tell) is going to require a good deal of healing. If you’ve read the end of the Thalia series, you’ll remember hearing from Beth in ‘Tying the Knot’… and you’ll probably remember just how much healing she has to do. It’s going to be a rough, heart-wrenching road, but I’m hoping you’ll take it with me, lovelies. She deserves it, right?
Now, usually this is the place I’d say that I hope you enjoyed the book, but… that phrasing just doesn’t seem appropriate here. Instead, I’ll just answer the question that might be tingling in your minds.
Was this the darkest I could go?
Answer? No. (sorry?)
You may have noticed that Anthony has his own odd little code of ethics, and while the plan for this story was originally to take the chains off, I still have to stay true to the characters. Since the boxset went so well, and there seem to be enough dark and twisted fans out there for the authors who were involved, we will likely do another one in the future, and for that one I’ll really open the basement doors and let the demons play. I’ll find you lovelies a villain that isn’t quite so… restrained.
