Andrew Sharp’s novels include The Ghosts of Eden, set in Uganda, and Fortunate, set in Zimbabwe. The Ghosts of Eden won the 2010 Waverton Good Read Award and was shortlisted for the 2011 Rubery Book Award. He was brought up in East Africa and has worked in several countries in sub-Saharan Africa as a medical doctor. He is based in the East Midlands.
