Artists and the Hardcover Art Book

Sarah Cloutier is a graduate student at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. She has been creating illustrations for Cowry Catchers since 2007. She painted all but one of the interior illustrations for this book, as well as the graphic of shelt species.

GreenSprite is a Romanian artist who has been creating illustrations for Cowry Catchers since mid-2009. She created the character portraits.

The maps and cover design were created by Jeff McDowall, a graphic artist living in Orlando, Florida.

Kirgetova Tatiana is a Russian artist. She created one of the illustrations: Real Conversation.

In March of 2015, these illustrations, as well as a number of unique new illustrations, were released in a beautiful hardcover book called The Art of Cowry Catchers. The physical book can be found in the usual places. Digital copies of the book are available from Abbie’s website, and signed copies can also be purchased there on occasion. The paperdolls from the art book can also be purchased there separately. Check www.abigailhilton.com for details.
