  India is a land of diversities .The culture of India refers to the different religions, beliefs, customs, traditions, languages, ceremonies, arts, values and the way of life in India and its people. India's languages, religions, dance, music, architecture, food, and customs differ from place to place within the country. Despite of such a diversified traditions and cultures yet India is united as a single nation because of the emotion, love, affection and respect people have for each other's religion and customs. Indian are considered to be the best host and teach our children about “ Atithi devo bhava” An ancient indian phrase means( consider the guest as god).We love Christian,muslims,jew,Hindus each and ervery people of the world. We all know that since sixteen century we faces many attacks(from Mughals and English armies) and facing so much corruption after independence till now, but we Indians are feeling so proud to have such a nice person as our prime minister and that person is non another than our beloved P.M “Narendra Damodar Das Modi”. When he comes into the power on may,16,2014 India have suddenly changed, Now we people are hoping and will make sure that our country will became no. one in Asia. India’s macroeconomic health has improved over During this time. Few years ago, the country was called a “gasping elephant” by an HSBC analyst. Today, it’s not a stampede by any means, but it is a much healthier family of pachyderms. India’s growth rate is expected to surpass China’s this year in percentage terms. If all goes according to the government’s base case scenario, Indians can expect a 7.4% growth rate, according to government estimates. The World Bank estimates it at 7.2%, which still puts India ahead of China, the world’s No. 2 economy after the U.S.

  Make In India Initiative

  Make in India is an initiative of the Government of India, to encourage companies to manufacture their products in India. It was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 September 2014. Make in India initiative has been on main agenda in various foreign visits of Narendra Modi.

  In January 2015, the Spice Group said it would start a mobile phone manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh with an investment of RS.500 crore. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Spice Group and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.In January 2015, HyunChil Hong, the President & CEO of Samsung South West Asia, met with Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), to discuss a joint initiative under which 10 "MSME-Samsung Technical Schools" will established in India. In February, Samsung said that will manufacture the Samsung Z1 in its plant in Noida.

  In February 2015, Hitachi said it was committed to the initiative. It said that it would increase its employees in India from 10,000 to 13,000 and it would try to increase its revenues from India from ¥100 billion in 2013 to ¥210 billion. It said that an auto-component plant will be set up in Chennai in 2016.

  In February 2015, Huawei opened a new research and development (R&D) campus in Bengaluru. It had invested US$170 million to establish the research and development center.

  In April 2015, Airbus said that it will manufacture its products in India and invest $ 2 Billion US dollars.

  Also in February, Marine Products Export Development Authority said that it was interested in supplying shrimp eggs to shrimp farmers in India under the initiative.

  100 New Smart Cities Plan

  In the 2014-15 Budget Session, the Finance Minister of India Mr. Arun Jaitely is allotted the 7,060 Crores of Rupees for the 100 Smart Cities. The Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi is going to develop the 100 Smart Cities as Satellite Towns of Larger Cities by modernizing the present Cities.

  The List of 100 Smart Cities proposed by the Finance Minister Arun Jaitely in 2014-15 Budget and allotted Rs. 7,060 Crores for making them as Satellite Towns.

  Eligibility

  International Travellers whose sole objective of visiting India is recreation , Sight seeing , casual visit to meet friends or relatives, short duration medical treatment or casual business visit.

  Passport should have at least six months validity from the date of arrival in India. The passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.

  International Travellers should have return ticket or onward journey ticket,with sufficient money to spend during his/her stay in India.

  International Travellers having Pakistani Passport or Pakistani origin may please apply for regular Visa at Indian Mission.

  Not available to Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders.

  Not available to individuals endorsed on Parent’s/Spouse’s Passport i.e. each individual should have a separate passport.

  Not available to International Travel Document Holders.

  Self-worth

  No longer does we indian look down on themselves for being poor and under-developed.
