  A Thousand Stars

  A thousand stars

  Pierce the veil

  Demons pour forth

  From the gates of Hell.

  Whispers of laughter

  Filled with joy untold

  Echo in twisted dreams

  Tormenting the soul.

  A desolate wasteland

  Broken and scarred

  Virtue desecrated

  Ravished and torn.

  A thousand stars

  Bear witness to all

  White wings run red

  As another angel falls.

  Angel’s Tears

  The night is warm,

  Yet she shivers with cold,

  From the freezing vapors,

  Suffocating her soul.

  Honey masked the poison,

  Of everything he said,

  Hands soiled with death,

Bathed the field in crimson red.

  Tears fall from the Angels,

  While demons dance with glee,

  For an innocence desecrated,

And a spirit left to bleed.

  Numbing Pain

  I am not dead

  Yet not truly alive

  My heart still beats

  Blood cold as ice.

  Darkness around me

  Embraced by numbing pain

  Struggle to retain my life

  As death calls my name.

  Appeasing Eyes

  Smile throughout the day,

  Sun bright and warm,

  Hoping none suspect,

  You’re broken and torn.

  Bury deep the truth,

  Lift high the lie,

  Paint on the mask,

  That appeases the eye.

  Deceiving the world,

  Begin believing yourself,

  Distorting the truth,

  Till there is nothing left.

  Wisdom of Fools

  Consorting with demons

  Fallen angels and fools.

  The blood of the wise

  Flows out in pools.

  Down on their knees

  Tears fall from eyes

  They beg and plead

  For another chance at life.

  Ashes

  I look around,

  At the ashes of dreams,

  The cries of despair.

  In my ears do ring.

  I see your face,

  Fade into the fog,

  Memories of you,

  Burn in my heart.

  Painfully aware,

  Of love I never knew,

  Screaming in agony,

  For not speaking the truth.

  Needing to cry,

  I can only laugh,

  As I find myself trapped,

  In this living death.

  Trail of Tears

  Angels fallen

  Bear impish grins

  Hearts resonating

  From the evil within.

  With malicious intent

  Their halos cast down

  Songs are extinguished

  And flames snuffed out

  The truth reveals

  The price that’s paid

  A trail of tears

  And crimson stain.

  Sins of the Father

  Ashes to ashes,

  Dust to dust,

  You kill out of hate,

  You murder for lust.

  This path you’ve taken,

  Filled with anger and rage,

  Living only for self,

  Care not what’s paid.

  Your fist hitting flesh,

  Echoes in empty halls,

  Your children listen,

  They hear it all.

  They burn for truth,

  You snuff out their flame,

  They sharpen the knives,

  And open their veins.

  You stand and wonder,

  What went wrong?

  They wanted for nothing,

  They had it all.

  With your money,

  They owned the world,

  You gave them everything,

  Except your love.

  Unholy Men

  All the words

  Spoken o’er and o’er

  Yet truth is lost

  Forevermore.

  Sorrow fills

  Empty graves

  Joy by silence

  Is betrayed.

  On bended knee

  This desperate man

  Seeks redemption from

  The prophet’s hand.

  Angels weep

  Tears of shame

  As holy men lead

  Broken souls to flame.

  Broken Free

  To wake the day

  And sleep the night

  Step out of the darkness

  And into the light

  This is my goal

  But this is my plight

  Trapped in this sickness

  Imprisoned in this shell

  Yet hear what I say

  And the others do tell

  My mind you torture

  Body you may kill

But my soul is safe now

  Broken free of your hell.

  Come and Dine

  Drunken lips utter,

  The vain incantation,

  “Deliver me from evil,

  Lead me from temptation.”

  Vile hands make motions,

  North, South, East and West,

  Ritual of misguided faith,

  That never penetrates the chest.

  Praying to stone gods,

  That hear no words,

  Lighting candl
es to idols,

  Made from the earth.

  The Ring-Master stands tall,

  Proclaiming his lies,

  The twisted Funhouse beckons,

  “Come and dine!”

  Too late, learning the truth,

  That only Death can tell,

  When this holy man cries,

  His soul burning in Hell.

  Happy Birthday

  Another year,

  Another breath,

  Another moment,

  Closer to death.

  With fabricated hope,

  And unfulfilled dreams,

  Taking comfort from Angels,

  With broken wings.

  Sift through wreckage,

Of this place I call home,

  Piece together the puzzle,

  Of where I went wrong.

  Serenity

  Envy the dark of night,

  With dreams untainted,

  By sun’s revealing light.

  Desire what could be,

  As scars fuse together

  The pain and misery.

  Seek serenity in chaos,

  With unyielding faith

  Grasp at illusions of love.

Scraps of life fall like rain,

  Just blood and bones,

  After the vultures, remain.

  Darkness

  Screams fill my head,

  Anger burning in my heart,

  Hate feeds this broken soul,

As demons tear my world apart.

  The knife finds the vein,

  Cutting the smooth skin,

  Darkness overcoming all,

  As Death enters in.

  Ballad of the Broken

  Desire of my heart,

  What can it be?

  Your answer, you say,

'A house? A car? True love? Tell me!'

  But truly, the answer,

  Simple, pure and whole,

  'Stitch back together

the pieces of my shattered, broken soul.'

  Days of Old

  Why did you leave,

  And fracture my soul?

  Now empty and barren,

  Desolate and cold.

  Why did you take,

  This peace from me?

  Injected the poison,

  Of pain and misery.

  I want them back,

  Those days of old,

  When smiles were real,

  Filled with joy untold.

  Back to the time,

  When love was true,

  Back before the day,

  I buried you.

  Too Late

  Memories bring me

  Echoes of voices

  Caresses in the night

  I glimpse a face

  I catch a scent

  I feel your hand

  You've come to haunt

  Renewing my pain

  When you walked away

  Should've kept you here

  Should've made you stay

  Should've said I cared

  The things I would say

  Now forever too late

  Standing at your grave.

  Wings of Blood

  Drifting aimlessly,

  Through this world,

  Being held aloft,

  By wings of blood.

  Amazing visions,

  My eyes behold,

  Beauty and majesty,

  Of the world below.

  Love and joy,

  Once held in hand,

  Now pain and hate,

  Rule this land.

  Tired of the pain,

  My soul endures,

  Tired of the hate,

  My heart longs for.

  I bid farewell,

  To those I loved,

  As I sail away,

  On wings of blood.

  Eternal Sleep

  The sun blinding my thoughts,

  Darkness illuminating the path,

  Burning from questions,

  I was too afraid to
